Plone

Plone, a content management system, was officially adopted as the standard form to write websites under the www.uwosh.edu domain.   MIO has been producing Plone websites for several years for various student groups and the Department of Residence Life.  Plone allows for websites to be created using the campus template so that all of the websites have the same look and feel. Here are a couple of the website we have produced:

Student Recreations and Wellness center(SRWC)

The Student Recreation and Wellness Center was one of the first Plone sites produced by MIO.  Since its launch in 2007, the SRWC has provided students with information about hours, events, and programs happening at the SRWC.

The department of Residence Life

The Department of Residence Life website serves as a source of information for incoming and current students living the residence halls.  It also provides information to non-students about events and happenings on campus.

UWO Campus Tour

The campus tour provides information on all of the buildings on campus.  As you click on a building you are given a map to show where it is on campus as well as information on the history of the building.  At the bottom of each building’s page there is also a photo gallery of that building.
