Web Development

The Management Information Office has a programmer staff of around 10 students who are responsible for the creation and the maintenance of over a dozen websites involving Department of Residence Life's buildings, operations, events, and student organizations.  We use Microsoft .Net in addition to Plone, a content management system, to develop rich web applications. The main web application developed with Microsoft .Net is the myUWO Student Portal.  MIO is also responsible for the Oshkosh Placement Exchange website.
