Services

The Management Information Office (MIO) is the student-staffed computer operations division of the Department of Residence Life.  Although most of the employees are students that work part time MIO operates and maintains web sites, security of resident halls and the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, and creates and distributes various fliers, brochures, and posters for the Department of Residence Life.

Technology

     Here at MIO we create many of our solutions with today's top software and hardware available.  We use virtual technology (parallels and vmware) to support the needs of our department.  We use programs such as Adobe Creative Suite 4 to create our unique solutions for our needs,  our programming team uses Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 for their development environment. Our LAN team uses Cisco hardware for network and hosting services.  Some of the software and hardware we use include:
