Management Information Office

Who we are

The Management Information Office (MIO) is the student-staffed residential computing office for the Department of Residence Life (ResLife) at UW Oshkosh.  The MIO is made up of around 30 students including an office for Graphic Artists.  MIO itself is made up of three main functional teams:  Computer Technicians, LAN Technicians and Programmers.

What we do

The MIO provides ResNet (residential network) to the students that live on campus at UW Oshkosh as well as hardware and software support for the department. The myUWO Student Portal was created and is maintained by MIO. In addition, MIO creates and maintains web sites for various student organizations, groups, and events.  MIO also provides physical security to the resident halls and the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
